Turkey’s CRC imports totaled 423,000 tons in the first seven months of this year, a 16pct decrease compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
In Jan-Jul 2024, the top three import sources were South Korea with 128,000 tons, Russia with 86,000 tons, and China with 81,000 tons.
In July 2024, Turkey imported around 51,200 tons of CRC, marking a 24pct YoY decline and a 21pct drop compared to June.
