Turkey imported 643,700 tons of CRC in the first seven months of 2025, a sharp 52pct increase on YoY basis, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
South Korea was the leading supplier with 198,900 tons, followed by Russia (176,200 tons) and China (165,700 tons).
In July alone, imports jumped to 148,000 tons, up from 51,200 tons in June 2024 and 22pct higher month-on-month
