Turkey imported 713,700 tons of CRC in the first eight months of 2025, marking a 42pct YoY increase, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
South Korea was the largest supplier with 227,300 tons, followed by Russia at 195,600 tons and China at 180,300 tons.
However, the upward trend did not continue into August. CRC imports that month slumped 53pct YoY to 70,000 tons, also falling 11pct compared with July.
