Turkish steel producer Diler Iron & Steel has achieved its highest-ever monthly wire rod output, producing 48,000 tons in May 2026 from a single production line.
The company said the record production included 26 wire rod diameters across 37 steel grades, highlighting the operational flexibility and efficiency of its wire rod mill.
Diler attributed the achievement to continued investment in advanced production technologies, operational excellence and ongoing process improvements.
The producer said the milestone strengthens its manufacturing capabilities and supports its long-term strategy of sustainable growth and value-added steel production.
Diler Iron & Steel, part of Diler Holding, operates an EAF-based integrated steel plant in Dilovasi with annual capacities of 1.3 mln tons of crude steel, 1.05 mln tons of rebar and 450,000 tons of wire rod. Together with sister company Yazici Demir Celik in Iskenderun, the group is one of Turkey’s leading producers of long steel products, supplying both domestic and export markets.
