Dubai-based Emirates Building Systems (EBS) has secured a contract to construct more than 80,000 square meters of built-up area for the KEZAD Food Hub project in Abu Dhabi. The scope covers design, fabrication, supply, and erection of structural steel buildings, the company said in a statement.
Planned as the region’s largest integrated food commodity trading ecosystem, the KEZAD Food Hub will bring together traders, logistics providers, value-added services, government agencies, and commercial operators, aiming to streamline food trade in the UAE. EBS noted that the project will be delivered to the highest safety and quality standards.
Founded in 1997, EBS specializes in designing, fabricating, and erecting high-quality steel structures. With an annual production capacity exceeding 75,000 tons, its portfolio includes hot-rolled structures for industrial facilities, high-rise buildings, bridges, built-up sections, and pre-engineered buildings.
