UAE’s Emirates Building Systems (EBS) has secured a contract to deliver the structural steel works for a fast-track float glass factory project in the UAE with a total built-up area of 50,000 square meters, the company said.
Under the contract, EBS will be responsible for the design, fabrication, supply and erection of the structural steel system, as well as sandwich panels, building accessories, louvers and fireproofing works.
The project comprises a complete industrial complex, including the main float glass production facility, melting furnace, batch plant, warehouses, storage facilities, conveyor structures and supporting infrastructure.
