Turkish steel producer Ekinciler Demir ve Celik shipped steel billets worth USD 25.43 mln in August 2026, marking the company’s highest monthly shipment value in recent times, according to a company filing.
With the August shipments, the total value of the company’s steel billet shipments in 2026 reached USD 117.27 mln.
Ekinciler Demir ve Celik Sanayi A.S., established in 1983 and headquartered in Istanbul, produces steel billets and ribbed reinforcing steel. Its Iskenderun steelworks has annual liquid steel production capacity of 1.4 mln tons, while its rolling mill has capacity of 1.3 mln tons of rebar.
