UAE’s steel and building materials producer EMSTEEL Group has received the Quality and Compliance Award at Make it in the Emirates 2026, recognizing its standards in manufacturing quality, regulatory compliance and sustainability.
The award, presented by Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), highlights EMSTEEL’s role in supporting the UAE’s industrial strategy and initiatives.
The company operates an integrated management system aligned with over 200 international standards and supported by more than 90 certifications, ensuring product quality, compliance and traceability across its operations.
EMSTEEL said its quality framework is supported by digital systems, enabling real-time monitoring, traceability and improved operational efficiency across its value chain and export markets.
The group is also advancing its digital transformation strategy, integrating technologies such as AI, IoT and cloud-based systems to enhance production efficiency, quality control and decision-making.
Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, EMSTEEL has an annual production capacity of 3.5 mln tons of steel and 4.6 mln tons of cement. Its steel segment, Emirates Steel, produces wire rod, rebar, heavy sections and sheet piles.
