Turkish pipe producer Erciyas Celik Boru announced that its subsidiary, Erciyas Rail, has been accepted into the Ministry of Trade’s TURQUALITY Support Program following a detailed review and inspection process. The approval confirms that Erciyas Rail’s corporate governance, brand management, and strategic growth plans meet international standards.
TURQUALITY is a government-supported branding program by Turkey’s Ministry of Trade, aimed at developing globally competitive Turkish brands and enhancing the “Made in Turkey” image.
Under the program, a wide range of expenses, including industrial design and utility model registrations, international trademark protections, market-entry certifications, consultancy, employment, promotional activities, trade fair participation, and franchise-related costs, will be supported at a 50pct rate, up to TRY 412 mln (USD 9.71 mln) for 2025.
In a separate statement, the company highlighted its broad engineering portfolio, which includes TSI- and UIC-compliant tank and flat wagons, high-strength hopper wagons for container and freight transport, passenger car bodies for light rail systems, and vehicle transport wagons.
Erciyas Celik Boru specializes in producing steel line pipes ranging from 10 inches (273.1 mm) to 160 inches (4,064 mm) in diameter, boasting an annual production capacity of 600,000 tons. Erciyas Rail is the railway manufacturing and maintenance subsidiary of Erciyas Holding.
