Pakistan’s finished steel imports rose nearly 33pct YoY in July 2025, reaching 343,257 tons compared with 258,419 tons in July 2024, according to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
On a month-on-month basis, imports jumped 92.2pct from June.
Cumulatively, finished steel imports for January-July 2025 climbed 33pct YoY to 2.26 mln tons.
