    Frijns Steel secures contract for Qatar Energy’s LNG project

    Qatar’s Aamal Company announced that its joint venture, Frijns Steel Construction Middle East, has won a QAR113 mln (USD 30.4m) contract from Consolidated Contractors Group (CCG).

    The contract, which runs until July 2027, covers the supply, fabrication, and painting of pipe support works for Qatar Energy’s North Field South LNG facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City. The project further consolidates Frijns’ role as a key structural steel solutions provider in Qatar’s energy sector.

    Established in 2009, Frijns Steel Construction ME serves the petrochemical and process industries with engineering, fabrication, anticorrosion, construction, and assembly services, and has an annual capacity of 24,000 tons. Aamal holds a 40pct stake in the venture, with the remaining 60pct owned by the Netherlands-based Frijns Industrial Group.
