Gas Arabian Services Company has been awarded contracts by Saudi Power Procurement Company for the development of gas pipeline infrastructure for two independent power plant (IPP) projects, the company announced in a stock exchange filing.
The first contract, valued at SAR 326.32 mln (USD 87 mln), is for the Rumah IPP project, while the second, worth SAR 504.32 mln (USD 134 mln), pertains to the Nairyah IPP project.
The scope of work for both contracts include the design, engineering, procurement, supply, delivery, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of all equipment and materials for the projects.
