Henan Fengbao Special Steel Co., Ltd. has awarded Danieli a contract to supply a new three-strand continuous casting machine for high-alloy round billets at its facility in Henan province, China.
The caster will produce ultra-large billets up to 1,000 mm in diameter, including advanced grades such as P91 and P92, used in pressure pipeline components for the power, petroleum, chemical, and metallurgical industries.
Danieli’s scope includes full core-area design, supply of key equipment, and Level 1 and Level 2 automation systems to ensure high precision and process efficiency.
