Vietnam’s leading steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has raised its domestic HRC prices for November delivery by around USD 10 per ton month-on-month. Non-skinpass SAE1006/SS400 HRC is currently offered at around USD 555 per ton CFR Vietnam, excluding VAT.
Import prices have also moved higher, with Indonesian and Indian HRC quoted at around USD 540-550 per ton CFR Vietnam, up by USD 10-20 per ton over the past month.
The increase reflects higher raw material costs, firmer domestic demand and reduced competition from imports.
Hoa Phat Group is one of Vietnam’s leading industrial manufacturers, with steel as its core business. By the end of 2026, its crude steel production capacity is expected to reach 16 mln tons per year, ranking first in Southeast Asia and placing it among the top steelmakers globally.
