Harsco Environmental, a division of Enviri Corporation, has signed a contract with Izmir Demir Celik Sanayi A.S. (IDC) in Izmir, Turkey.
Under the contract, Harsco Environmental will provide under-furnace digging services for two electric arc furnaces at IDC. This collaboration aligns with IDC’s commissioning of its second electric arc furnace, strengthening the partnership between the two companies.
Enviri supports a diverse customer base by delivering recycling and reuse solutions for industrial waste streams, helping companies tackle complex environmental challenges and meet sustainability goals.
As a key player in Turkey’s steel manufacturing sector, IDC produces a wide range of products, including billets, blooms, and rebars.
