Interpipe has completed the acquisition of ArcelorMittal Tubular Products’ (AMTP) seamless pipe facility in Roman, Romania.
The plant becomes Interpipe’s first manufacturing asset within the European Union, supporting its strategy to expand its regional footprint and strengthen customer service.
Established in 1951, the Roman facility produces seamless pipes (168.3-406.4 mm) for energy, construction and industrial applications, including line pipes for onshore and offshore projects, as well as casing and tubing.
Interpipe, a Ukraine-based producer of steel pipes and railway products, supplies customers in more than 70 countries. In 2025, the company shipped 470,000 tons of pipes and 89,000 tons of railway products, which are marketed under the KLW brand.
