Ukrainian steel pipe producer Interpipe has supplied OCTG pipes for a geothermal energy project in Slovakia, supporting the country’s efforts to expand renewable energy capacity. The geothermal system is expected to generate nearly 175,000 MWh of clean energy annually.
For the project, Interpipe delivered close to 1,000 tons of threaded seamless casing pipes with API Buttress connections, covering diameters from 7 inches to 13-3/8 inches. The pipes were produced in line with API 5CT standards and engineered to perform under demanding geothermal operating conditions.
Interpipe is a global supplier of steel pipes and railway products, exporting to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices across Europe, North America and the Middle East.
