Ukraine-based Interpipe has delivered nearly 250 tons of steel pipes to a Spanish customer for the construction of a new offshore wind farm in the English Channel, near Le Treport and Dieppe, France.
The pipes, ranging from 101.6 mm to 419.1 mm in diameter, will form the foundations of boat mooring platforms at each of the project’s 62 wind turbines.
Construction of the wind farm began in January 2024 and is expected to be completed by late 2026. Once operational, it will provide renewable electricity to more than 850,000 people.
