    ISL commissions solar power project at its Karachi plant

    International Steels Limited (ISL), a subsidiary of International Industries Limited, has completed and commissioned a 6.4-megawatt (MW) solar power project at its manufacturing facility in Karachi, according to a filing on the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

    The company stated that the project aligns with its long-term sustainability strategy, aiming to enhance energy efficiency, support environmental goals, and optimise operational costs. The solar installation is expected to reduce ISL’s carbon footprint and contribute to overall cost savings.

    Headquartered in Karachi, ISL operates manufacturing facilities with an annual production capacity of 1 mln tons, specializing in the production of cold rolled steel, galvanized steel, and color-coated steel.
