Metso has secured an order to deliver sustainable filtration technology for Jindal Steel’s iron ore pellet plant in Angul, eastern India.
The order includes six fully automatic Larox FFP 3512 filters, part of the Metso Plus offering, which will be installed at the pellet plant to enhance efficiency and environmental performance.
Jindal Steel is one of India’s leading industrial groups with a strong presence in steel, mining, and infrastructure. The company currently operates with an annual steel production capacity of 9.6 mln tons and a captive power capacity of 1,634 MW.
