Turkish steel producer Kardemir has reduced its billet prices by USD 25 per ton, according to its latest price list.
The updated price for S235JR grade billets is now USD 495 per ton EXW, while B420 grade billets are listed at USD 520 per ton EXW as compared to the prices announced on November 7, 2024.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
