Turkish steel producer Kardemir has raised its billet prices, according to its latest price list.
The price for S235JR grade billets has been set at USD 490 per ton EXW, reflecting a USD 10 per ton increase from the previous price announced on February 22, 2025. Meanwhile, B420 grade billets are now offered at USD 500 per ton EXW, up from USD 495 per ton last month.
Market sources report that the mill has successfully sold over 50,000 tons and has now closed sales.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
