Turkey’s leading steel producer Kardemir has increased domestic prices for steel sections, according to its latest price list.
The producer raised prices for IPE-NPU sections in sizes 180-550 mm to USD 670-760 per ton EXW, up from USD 665-750 per ton EXW previously. The price of IPE 600 also increased by USD 10 to USD 780 per ton EXW.
For HEA-HEB sections in sizes 120-500 mm, Kardemir increased prices to USD 685-800 per ton EXW, compared with the previous range of USD 680-790 per ton EXW.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir operates from Karabuk with an annual production capacity of 3.5 mln tons, producing blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and other steel products.
