Turkish integrated steel producer Kardemir has appointed Sabri Kilic as its new deputy general manager of operations, according to a stock exchange filing. He succeeds Ahmet Aycan, who stepped down from his role as deputy general manager of operations on January 23, 2026.
In a separate decision, Kardemir’s board has appointed Mustafa Gurbuz as deputy general manager of legal affairs, following approval to establish the new position within the company.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, wire rods, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
