Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has increased prices for its long steel products, according to the company’s latest price list.
The new price for 12-32 mm rebar is set at TRY 21,550 per ton EXW (USD 555), up from TRY 21,000 per ton EXW (USD 544) last week, based on an exchange rate of TRY 38.6 to the USD.
Kardemir also increased wire rod prices by USD 10 per ton as Compared to April 30, 2025, price list. The updated prices for wire rod are now listed at USD 600 per ton EXW for the 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade and USD 590 per ton EXW for the 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grades.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
