Turkish steelmaker Kardemir lowered its wire rod prices by USD 10 per ton in its latest price list, compared with July 23 levels.
The company is now offering 5.5 mm SAE 1006 grade wire rod at USD 580 per ton EXW, and 5.5 mm SAE 1008-1010 grades at USD 570 per ton EXW.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, wire rods, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
