Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has announced updated rebar prices, according to its latest price list.
The new price for 12-32 mm rebar is set at TRY 21,585 per ton EXW (USD 553), slightly up from TRY 21,550 per ton EXW (USD 555) last month. The pricing is based on an exchange rate of TRY 38.8 to the USD.
Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
