Keir signs strategic cooperation deal with Metsco Heavy Steel Industries

Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure and engineering contractor Keir International Company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Metsco Heavy Steel Industries Company valued at SAR 130 mln (USD 34.7 mln) to support the execution of infrastructure projects across the Kingdom.

Under the one-year agreement, Metsco will provide procurement, project execution, operational support, subcontractor management, logistics and technical services for a number of infrastructure projects undertaken by Keir International.

Keir International said the partnership is aimed at strengthening project execution capabilities, improving supply chain efficiency and accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects, particularly those related to electrical works.

The company noted that the agreement serves as a strategic framework for cooperation between the two parties and does not currently have a measurable financial impact. Any material developments or financial effects arising from the agreement will be disclosed at a later stage.

Metsco Heavy Steel Industries is a Saudi Arabia-based steel fabrication and engineering company with manufacturing facilities in Riyadh and Jeddah. The company specializes in storage tanks, pressure vessels, heavy steel structures, silos, pipe racks and EPC services for the oil and gas, petrochemical, power, water and industrial sectors.
