METSCCO Heavy Steel Industries has selected IFS Cloud, embedded with IFS.ai Industrial AI, to modernize its business operations and improve manufacturing, project management and supply chain coordination across Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
The implementation will bring enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing, procurement, finance, project management, quality management and maintenance operations onto a single integrated platform. The solution was selected for its capabilities in engineer-to-order manufacturing, project-based operations and asset management.
According to IFS, the platform is expected to support production planning, resource utilization, supply chain coordination and project execution, while providing real-time operational information to support decision-making.
METSCCO manufactures heavy steel products and provides industrial infrastructure solutions in Saudi Arabia. It operates factories in Riyadh, covering 20,000 square metres, and Jeddah, covering 45,000 square metres. Its facilities include rolling, welding, blasting, CNC cutting and fabrication equipment, supported by computerized design facilities and engineering teams.
