Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce has initiated an antidumping investigation into imports of pipe fittings from Egypt, according to a notice published in the official gazette on August 30.
The probe follows a complaint filed by domestic producer Trakya Dokum San. ve Tic. A.S., with support from Samsun Makine San. A.S. The ministry said it had found sufficient evidence to justify an investigation into potential dumping practices.
The inquiry will examine imports of Egyptian-origin pipe fittings, classified under customs tariff code 7307.19, covering the period from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2024.
