Premier Marine Engineering Services has delivered its first UAE-built cargo barge, ADNOC B20, to ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S), marking a milestone for the country’s shipbuilding industry.
This delivery is part of a five-year contract between the two companies to produce multiple multi-purpose barges, including eight cargo barges set for completion in 2025 during the first phase.
The 250-foot flat-top barge was built entirely in the UAE, highlighting the country’s growing capabilities in marine engineering and shipbuilding. Premier Marine’s expertise will continue to support ADNOC L&S in its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
Last year, ADNOC L&S acquired six new flat-top cargo barges from Premier Marine to enhance its EPC operations.
