Rebar exports remain stable in Q1 2026

Turkey’s rebar exports remained almost stable in the first quarter of 2026, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

The country exported around 1.07 mln tons of rebar during the January-March period, almost unchanged compared with the same period last year.

Yemen was the largest export destination for Turkish rebar during the period with around 202,700 tons, followed by Palestine with 100,600 tons and Peru with 66,600 tons.

In March alone, Turkey’s rebar exports totaled around 431,800 tons, increasing by about 45pct YoY and 29pct compared with February.
