Turkey exported around 2.6 mln tons of rebar in the first eight months of 2025, marking a 21pct YoY increase, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Yemen remained the top destination for Turkish rebar, importing 440,800 tons during the period. It was followed by Romania (235,100 tons), Albania (163,100 tons), Syria (128,000 tons), and the UK (119,300 tons).
In August alone, Turkey exported 314,100 tons of rebar, up 4pct from a year earlier but down 10pct compared to July.
