China’s Sanbao Group has signed contracts with Tenova LOI Thermprocess and Tenova Technologies (Tianjin) for the supply of three annealing and coating lines for non-grain oriented (NGO) silicon steel at its facility in Zhangzhou, China.
These contracts mark Sanbao Group’s entry into silicon steel production as part of a new project focused on producing high-quality NGO electrical steel with superior surface quality and magnetic properties, aimed at serving Southeast China.
Founded in 1999, Sanbao Group is a modern steel complex located in Fujian Province, China. It operates with both BOF-BF integrated production and EAF mini-mill processes, supplying products to sectors such as ocean engineering, shipbuilding, petroleum pipelines, mechanical equipment, high-pressure vessels, and the automotive industry.
