SSAB has introduced its Strenx Certified Fabricator network in the Netherlands, an initiative aimed at recognizing and promoting excellence in high-strength steel fabrication. As part of the launch, the company has appointed Joop van Zanten B.V. as the first Dutch member of the network.
The program connects a select group of fabricators with a proven track record in producing advanced components and pre-fabricated structures for OEMs using SSAB’s Strenx performance steel. Certified members are recognized for their high level of technical skill and experience in handling high-strength steels.
SSAB will support network members with specialized training, technical assistance, and early access to new developments in steel materials, efforts intended to drive innovation and raise industry standards.
SSAB is a leading producer of advanced high-strength steels (AHSS) and quenched and tempered (Q&T) steels, with an annual crude steel capacity of about 8.8 mln tons across its operations in Sweden, Finland, and the United States.
