Tata Steel expands into infrastructure solutions with InQuik partnership

Tata Steel has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australia’s InQuik Group to introduce its award-winning modular bridge construction technology to India.

The partnership allows Tata Steel to expand into high-value infrastructure by integrating InQuik’s prefabricated bridge systems into its product portfolio. This move supports Tata Steel’s strategy to offer value-added, sustainable construction solutions.

For InQuik, the collaboration marks a major step in its global expansion following its U.S. venture with CMC. The agreement opens access to India’s rapidly growing infrastructure market.

InQuik’s patented system enables fast, cost-effective construction of reinforced concrete bridges using prefabricated steel formwork filled with concrete on site. These modular bridges are designed to be sustainable, climate-resilient, and ideal for improving connectivity in remote areas.

The initiative aligns with India’s infrastructure goals by offering scalable and efficient solutions to enhance transport networks.

Tata Steel is one of the world’s leading steel producers, with an annual crude steel capacity of 35 mln tons.
