Tata Steel Colors Private Limited has launched its Colorcoat range of pre-painted steel products in India, targeting demand from infrastructure, industrial and commercial construction projects.
The range brings the company’s European coating technology to India, with products adapted to local climatic conditions. The coatings are designed to provide colour and gloss retention, corrosion protection, scratch resistance and protection along cut edges.
The products are intended for roofing and wall cladding, combining durability and thermal performance with a range of colours and finishes for different building designs.
Manufacturing will take place at Tata Steel Colors’ facility in Jamshedpur. The company will also handle distribution and marketing in India and overseas.
The range targets applications across metro and transit infrastructure, ports, warehouses, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, automotive facilities, commercial buildings, defence infrastructure and institutional projects.
