Tenaris to build new office at Midland service center

Tenaris will build a new office building at its Midland Service Center in Texas, marking a USD 12 mln investment in the company’s largest service hub worldwide.

The facility, which supports more than 200 employees, is a key part of Tenaris’ Rig Direct integrated service model. The Midland center currently dispatches over 70,000 tons of casing per month to customers operating in the Permian Basin and also serves as a hub for field and trucking services.

Separately, Tenaris is investing USD 12.5 mln in a rail spur connecting the service center to the Union Pacific network, which is expected to improve pipe transportation and unloading operations.

The investments aim to strengthen service capabilities in the Permian Basin and support growing customer activity through the company’s Rig Direct distribution model, a comprehensive, digitally integrated service model for the supply of OCTG pipes and accessories.

Tenaris is a global manufacturer of steel pipes and related services for the energy industry, supplying tubular products and technical solutions for oil and gas drilling, production and industrial applications.
