Turkey’s statistical authority, TUIK, reported a decrease in the construction sector confidence index for July 2024. The index fell by 0.9pct to 87.1 compared to the previous month.
In addition, the retail trade sector confidence index dropped by 1.5pct to 107.1, while the services sector confidence index declined by 1.1pct to 114.1 in July.
These indices, measured on a scale from 0 to 200, provide insights into industry sentiment, with values exceeding 100 indicating optimism and values below 100 reflecting pessimism.
