The World Steel Association (Worldsteel) has announced its Executive Board of Directors for the 2025-26 term, with key representation from the Middle East.
Ugur Dalbeler, CEO of Turkey’s Colakoglu, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Association. Abdulqader Almubarak, CEO of Saudi Iron & Steel Company (Hadeed), has been appointed Joint Vice Chairman alongside Thachat Viswanath Narendran, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel.
Mark Vassella, Managing Director and CEO of BlueScope Steel Limited, will serve as Treasurer for the two-year term.
