Vallourec finalizes Deville-les-Rouen site sale as part of restructuring plan

Vallourec, a global leader in premium seamless tubular solutions, has signed an exclusive sale agreement with VINCI Immobilier for the transfer of its Deville-les-Rouen site.

The agreement follows a call for tenders launched in September 2024, after which Vallourec entered exclusive negotiations with VINCI Immobilier in March 2025. The selected proposal was said to best align with the group’s expectations and local development priorities.

VINCI Immobilier’s project forms part of a broader economic revitalization initiative, aiming to transform the former industrial site into a dynamic business hub. The plan includes turnkey facilities tailored to the needs of local businesses and industrial firms, with the goal of creating diverse employment opportunities in the region.

Vallourec and VINCI Immobilier will now move forward with the necessary regulatory procedures, with the final transfer of the site expected in 2026.

The Deville-les-Rouen steel tube plant, including its heat treatment facilities, was closed in 2021 as part of Vallourec’s broader industrial restructuring strategy.
