Vallourec, a global leader in premium seamless tubular solutions, has secured a major contract with Petrobras following a competitive bidding process. The long-term deal, running from 2026 to 2029, could generate up to USD 1 bln in revenue, making it the largest award by Petrobras since adopting its open tender strategy.
The agreement covers the full OCTG supply scope, including seamless pipes and VAM premium connections for offshore wells ranging from 4.5″ to 18″, in both carbon and stainless steel, along with related accessories.
Vallourec will also provide a wide range of value-added services onshore and offshore, such as engineering support, material coordination, rig preparation, offshore supervision, repairs, and restocking, aimed at boosting Petrobrass operational efficiency.
