A consortium of Veolia, Marafiq, Lamar, and Satorp, a Saudi Aramco and TotalEnergies joint venture, will develop a project to treat and recycle all industrial wastewater in Saudi Arabia’s Jubail Industrial City, Veolia announced.
The USD 500 mln recycling plant will be built by Veolia in partnership with Orascom under a 30-year civil-works contract starting in 2028. Designed with Veolia’s latest technologies, the facility will have an annual capacity of 8.8 mln cubic meters.
