Watani Iron Steel Company (Watani Steel) has announced the appointment of Abdul Karim Mohammed Al Rajhi as the Chairman of the board for the upcoming three-year term. Alongside him, Mishaal Abdul Karim Al Rajhi and Youssef Muhammad Al Tarif have been appointed as Vice Chairman and Managing Director, respectively, the company said in an exchange filing.
The official transition to their new roles took place on 2 July 2023, marking the beginning of their board term. They will hold these positions until 1 July 2026.
Watani Steel is an integrated long steel manufacturer with production capacity of 250,000 tons per annum.
