Welspun Corp, an Indian pipe producer, has secured major orders in the US worth INR 3,000 crore (USD 345.5 mln) for natural gas pipeline projects, according to a stock exchange filing.
The company has received orders for HSAW (helical submerged arc welded) and HFIW (high-frequency induction welded) pipes.
The execution of these orders is expected to take place primarily during FY26 and FY27. With these new contracts, Welspun Corp’s consolidated order book now totals approximately INR 18,000 crore (USD 2 bln).
The company has a positive outlook for the US market, expecting continued opportunities in the coming years.
