Turkey exported 714,500 tons of wire rod in the first nine months of 2025, a 3pct YoY decline, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania was the largest buyer with 254,000 tons, followed by Bulgaria (55,800 tons) and Libya (52,300 tons).
In September, wire rod exports fell 24pct YoY to 91,300 tons, though shipments rose sharply from 43,000 tons in August.
