Turkey exported 623,300 tons of wire rod in the first eight months of 2025, up 1.2pct YoY, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania was the largest buyer with 223,700 tons, followed by Libya at 47,500 tons and Australia at 44,300 tons.
In August 2025, Turkey’s wire rod exports inched up 1pct YoY to 43,000 tons but fell 16pct from July levels.
