Turkey exported around 579,700 tons of wire rod in the first seven months of 2025, a 1.2pct YoY increase, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
Romania was the top buyer with 221,300 tons, followed by Bulgaria (41,800 tons) and Libya (39,500 tons).
In July, Turkish wire rod exports rose 15pct YoY to 50,700 tons, though volumes were down 56pct compared with June.
