Xinyu Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. (Xisco), a subsidiary of China Baowu Group, has completed its Kocks RSB 370++/4 project with the signing of the Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC), marking full operation of its new SBQ mill in Xinyu City, Jiangxi province.
The RSB 370++/4, tailored for Xisco’s 560,000 tons per annum greenfield mill, produces straight bars from 20-90 mm with high dimensional accuracy, superior surface quality, and enhanced production flexibility. Installed after 22 H/V stands, the unit strengthens Xisco’s ability to supply premium long products for demanding industries.
Kocks’ scope also covered roll shop equipment, automation, and the Bamicon Octopus system for efficient stand and guide adjustment, supporting smooth operations and streamlined workflows.
