Vallourec has signed a two-year extension to its 2019 contract with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), originally valued at USD 900 mln. This extension will take effect in January 2025 and will last until January 2027.
Vallourec will continue to supply a complete range of tubes and connections for both conventional and complex applications in onshore and offshore oil and gas fields. Additionally, the contract has been amended to expand its initial scope to include new services such as local pipe coating and Vallourec’s digital solutions like Tallyvision, which streamlines installation operations by providing full traceability for each tube.
The customer will also continue to benefit from Vallourec’s state-of-the-art yard, which features a 100pct digital management system.
As part of this extension, Vallourec has secured a major new order to supply 27,000 tonnes of tubes. These products will be manufactured in Vallourec plants in France, Brazil, China, and Indonesia, leveraging the group’s strategic premium production hubs. Deliveries will start at the end of 2024.
Vallourec is known for delivering tubular solutions for the energy sector and other demanding industrial applications, ranging from extreme oil and gas wells to high-performance mechanical equipment. They also cater to emerging markets like hydrogen, CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage), geothermal, and solar energy.
